Expertise

Climate research at KIT and the expertise of other institutions form the basis for the competence of the South German Climate Office.

The South German Climate Office utilizes the expertise in basic and applied climate research available at various institutes of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) (KIT institutions).

In addition, there are further institutes at various universities and scientific institutions of the federal and state governments in southern Germany (further institutions).

In addition, the South German Climate Office forms a Germany-wide network with three other regional climate offices of the Helmholtz Association.
